There were three layers of plastic and a seal under the lid that needed to be removed before I could get to the pills, so they seem to be highly securely packaged. I also appreciate that the bottom of each jar contains a clearly labeled expiration date as well as a LOT number that is almost certainly the manufactured/packaged date. These showed up fresh and as described, and include a desiccant pack in each tub to keep the pills dry and fresh. As you can see from the photo, the pills are not particularly small, so if you don't like larger caps, you may find these a little large, but considering a serving is two capsules, I understand why they used large caps since it'd be annoying to be counting out four small pills. Each tub comes mostly empty, so I'm a bit surprised they didn't just put all 120 tablets in one tub. Perhaps they sense more comfortable with the freshness and efficacy of the pills if they get consumed within 30 days of opening? My personal take is that I tend to savor eating a lot of fermented food, including natto, kimchi, yogurt and sauerkraut, so I try to get the whole grain and probiotic strains I need through my diet. But if I wasn't eating the way I was, I can see supplementing with these pills. I don't have a way to verify all the strands labeled here, but I did not have any ill-effects from consuming these. I also didn't notice a profound change for the improved either, but I think my probiotic blend consumption is already pretty robust.

I made the decision to seek out a new prebiotic and microbial supplement and after much studies determined that the Toniq Symbiotic is the premier available with documented studies. Also, at a reasonable value. I have been using it for a few weeks now, and have noted improvements in regularity and decrease GI swelling. In my experience, my system seems to acclimate to over-the-counter supplements fairly quickly, but I am hoping the same does not apply to this maker.
